It appears we are off to an uncertain year in 2008. Our financial institutions are taking significant losses, our real estate market is soft, and consumer confidence is low.
But as business people we have no choice but to survive and grow in this environment.
It is said that uncertainty and turmoil also bring opportunity. But to succeed we need to know how to identify the opportunity and, equally important, we must be ready to take advantage of the opportunity.
Our goals for the year are to:
- provide information to our members about potential business opportunities with public agencies and corporations
- create a vibrant and cooperative environment for our members to do business with one another and share ideas
- stand up for the rights of Asian business owners to obtain their fair share of the California economy
- advise and educate our members so they are ready to take advantage of business opportunities
- be the place where our successful Asian entrepreneurs can give back to the Asian business community in a creative way
A key to our success as a group will be the steady and enthusiastic participation of our members and friends.
I welcome and encourage any thoughts from our members on how we can achieve our goals. And if want to participate in any of our programs please call or stop by the office.
