President’s Profile

Alba V. Eugenio  1991
Alba V. Eugenio (Bachelder) came to office in 1991 as ABA President after having served in different positions such as Secretary and Vice President.

Her goal was for ABA to have its own office (before her term, ABA office was located in the president's place of business). Having its own office meant more credibility for ABA and also to unencumber a current president of maintaining office for the organization. Not to mention a more accessible office for its members.

The first ABA office was opened in El Monte, moved to Chinatown, then to Wilshire and finally in the current location on Corporate Center Drive in Monterey Park.

Alba passed away on October 1, 2005.
