We wrapped up 2004 with our annual holiday party with magic. Members not only had the opportunity to network with old friends and new acquaintances, they also were treated to a magic show. In addition, we watched a slide show of the year’s activities and witnessed Los Angeles County Superior Judge Ruth Kwan install the 2005 Board of Directors. We are proud to introduce 4 new board directors who will serve in 2005 & 2006. They are Soa Kang, president of Ten Communications; Sunnie Kim, president of Hana Financial, Inc.; Arnold Ng, president of The Insight Company; and Linda Young, president of Tailored Baskets. When you see them at our next functions, please say “Hi”. I am sure they would like the opportunity to meet you.
On January 15-16, ABA board of directors and advisory council participated in ABA’s planning retreat in Ventura Beach. Although we have grown membership, introduced membership benefits, and improved our programs, ABA still needs to push forward to break new grounds. This would not be possible without your involvement. Do not give up the opportunity to become more involved, get to know other members and enrich your lives by making a positive impact for ABA. I strongly encourage you to call the chair(s) of a committee and be an active member.
